Hello Holderness!

We had a packed show on Hello Holderness tonight: three studio guests, and three interviews on the phone!

First up was Chris Berry from acoustic covers band CMC, who came in to chat about his experiences playing and recording, and also played us a few tracks from his CD. You can hear more of Chris and his band on his MySpace.

Local farmer Charlie Hill from Skeffling has found a new line: turning scrap metalwork into original artwork, or 'scrap art'. Charlie also told us about the problems that farmers in the area are having with recent flooding, which is compounding problems caused last summer.

The residents of Burton Pidsea were affected by flooding over Christmas, so the landlady of the Nancy Inn has decided to run Christmas all over again, with a special dinner on Sunday. She told Kirsty all about it over the phone.

Matthew Lewer from East Riding Council spoke to us about the competition to find the Eco-Family of the year. If you think your household is particularly eco-friendly, tell the council about all the small things you do to make a difference and you could win £200 of green technology to lower your carbon footprint even further. And it doesn't have to be a traditional family: singles or people who share too can enter their household. To enter or for more details, contact eco.families@eastriding.co.uk, or write to: Community & Sustainable Development, JF78, County Hall, Beverley, HU17 9BA.

Our resident Hull City fan Kempy gave an account of the highs and lows of Tuesday's match against Barnsley, and also told us what to expect from tomorrow's away game.

And Dara Morad rounded off the show with a review of Tim Burton's latest film, Sweeney Todd, currently showing at the cinema.

I'd like to thank our guests again for taking part. You can see pictures of those who came in to the studio, Chris, Charlie, and Kempy, in our guests gallery. See you next week when we do it all over again!

And finally: if you'd like to join us on the show, to talk about any topic at all, please get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
