Justin attended the first Real Yorkshire Tourism Awards at Lazaat Hotel in Cottingham.
The winners included:
*Miller's Tea Room and Farm Shop in Skidby was voted best in the Real Cuppa field.
*RSPB Bempton Cliffs won the Real Smile award.
*Matthew Dominey, of Hull College, went home with the Real Cool prize for his enthusiasm and contribution.
*P&O Ferries received the Real Business award for the conference destination that best met the needs of the business tourism.
*Paul Schofield, a Hull tour guide, was named the Real Ambassador for offering exemplary customer service, knowledge and passion.
*Margaret Butterfiled, of Rudstone Walk, won the Real Welcome award for offering the most friendly welcome to visitors.
*Wold Cottage won the Real Yorkshire Breakfast for its fantastic locally produced breakfast.
*Artisan Restaurant in Hessle took home the Real Food prize for serving the best food in the area.
*Field House Farm Cottages received the Real Night's Sleep non-serviced award for the highest quality self-catering accommodation.
*Kilham Hall won the Real Night's Sleep serviced prize for best catered accommodation.
In addition, a special Real Yorkshire Passion prize, chosen by the VHEY board of directors, went to Carol Atkinson, builder and owner of The Strawbale Cottage – an eco-friendly holiday home in Howden.
