New fangled interweb Blog thing.

Hello!

Here it is, my historic first ever Blog. Hard to believe that in this day and age someone could still be a Blog virgin at 24 years old, well there you go. Does Blog always need a capital letter? I'm not sure so I'll stick with it, don't want to upset the Blog fairies this early in proceedings.

Well, the idea of this is that it'll be updated a couple of times a week, either with info about the show, (ie, silly ideas that may fill a link) or other things that I have done/seen/thought of/secretly imagined. Sounds simple enough doesn't it.

First things first, if you would like to contact me when I'm not on the air, you can do it by simply emailing me at daveonseasidefm@hotmail.co.uk . Remember, it's the new hotmail so '.co.uk' rather than the old school '.com'

Basically if you would like to get in touch about a song I have played, or that you would like me to play. A feature I did or a joke that I told that you liked or hated, that is the way to do it.

If you heard the show on Sunday, I do hope you enjoyed it. If you didn't, you missed Liam Gallagher giving us his views on the American Election, a first time competition entry winning my Best of The Buzzcocks CD in "The not quite missing words quiz," me telling the story of the most romantic thing I have ever done and a chat with Mike (of the Mike Brown Radio Show) about a Flaming Lips song that neither of us could quite recall and about what it would be like to have James Bond cleaning your house. Vintage radio I'm sure you'll agree.

Lets hope for more of the same this week.

What I would like from you is answers to three questions,

What was the last book you read?

What was the last film you saw?

What was the last song you heard that made you happy and why did it have that effect? Yes I'm counting that as 3 questions, the last one is a two-parter - ok?

For my part - I am currently reading Moon Palace by Paul Auster, I will tell you more when I have finished it. The last film I saw was Cloverfield - which is a work of genius but I wouldn't recommend if you get travel sick. And the last song I heard that made me smile was The Kings of Leon - Red Morning Light which I listened to on Saturday and it put me in a great mood I think because I had forgotten how good it actually is.

Email your answers to daveonseasidefm@hotmail.co.uk and I will either create a pivot table with the responses (sorry) or I'll chat about them on the air on Sunday.

Thats pretty much it I think, speak to you later in the week.

Thanks for your time.
