  • A Quiz Night in support of Withernsea Hospital League of Friends will be held at The Plough Inn pub in Hollym. It's £1 per team member and starts at 8.30pm.

  • A car boot sale will take place on Paull sports field from 9am - 4pm.

• Friday 10th September 2010
  • An evening of Clairvoyance with one of the UK's leading Clairoyants Anita Gordon will take place at Hornsea's Floral Hall between 7.30pm and 10.00pm. For further details contact Tracey Wilson on (01482) 392919.

• Saturday 11th September 2010
  • Local band "Bad Dog" play at Hare & Hounds, Burstwick from around 8.30pm.

• Monday 13th September 2010

• Monday 20th September 2010
  • The Family Links Parenting Course takes place in Hornsea. Spend 2 hours a week learning tried and tested, researched techniques used across the UK and USA to tackle parenting. It is suitable for parents of 0-13 yr olds. The course starts at 9.30am and is held at Children and Family Action, No 2 Southgate Court, Old Bridge Road Industrial Estate, Hornsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, HU18 1RP.   • The Hull & Beverley Christadelphians week long Bible Exhibition begins at Samman Hall on the A1035 in Routh. It is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.00am - 5.00pm, Thursday & Friday 10.00-7.00pm and Saturday 10.00am-2.00pm.

• Tuesday 21st September 2010
  • An auction of household goods, toys and more will take place at the Floral Hall in Hornsea from 10.00am - 3.00pm. The event is free to attend and for details contact Tracey Wilson on (01964) 532919.

• Wednesday 22nd September 2010

• Friday 24th September 2010
  • A Harvest Auction will take place at The Plough Inn at Hollym after the Harvest Service at St. Nicholas Church. Proceeds will go to Dove House Hospice.

• Saturday 25th September 2010
  • Help raise £1 million for Withernsea by riding your bike! Richard from Withernsea Wheelers has organised an annual event for non motorised bikes (...or skateboarders, or wheelchairs...) which will see participants biking from Withernsea to Hedon over to Lelley and back to Withernsea!   • Rudston Autumn Walk takes place on Saturday 25th September. Participants can choose between 3 and 3/4 miles or 6 1/2 miles on public footpaths and roads. Meet in Rudston Village Hall for coffee and map between 10 and 11am. Price is £7.50 and includes coffee and lunch on return.   • St. Nicholas Church in Hornsea present a programme of religious and secular music by The Melsa Consort at 7.30pm. There will also be a finger buffet and wine. Tickets are £6 and are available on the door on the night or in advance from the parish office on (01964) 537203.

• Sunday 26th September 2010
  • A Table Top Sale will take place from 9.00am to 12.30pm at the Jack Gledhill Centre on Queen Street in Withernsea.
  • A new salsa class for beginners begins at Hornsea & District Indoors Bowl Club, Atwick Road in Hornsea. It runs from 7.00pm to 8.00pm, with practice time afterwards until 9.00pm. It's £5 per class and more details are available from Sue Spice on 07703 121232 or (01482) 843130 .

• Monday 27th September 2010
  • As part of the National Older Peoples Week, the Pavilion Leisure Centre in Withernsea is offering FREE activites and FREE health checks on Monday 27th September from 10.00am - 2.00pm. Come and have a go at racketball, badminton, chair aerobics and boccia and get a free health check. A great way to have fun and make new friends.

• Wednesday 29th September 2010

• Thursday 30th September 2010
  • Less of an event, more an unevent as the Seaside FM listener quiz night at the Shores Centre has been cancelled. This is because it's Barry's birthday! Happy 70th Barry!
  • A charity race night is being held at the Victoria public house in Hornsea at 8.00pm. There will be 64 horses to sell at £2.50 each, and if your horse wins the race you bag yourself a nice bottle on vino! Money raised will go to helping Vicky Osborne who requires a pioneering new surgery to help try to stop her Multiple Sclerosis progressing further, and improve her day-to-day life.
