The Saturday Sports Show

Owain's picture

Owain and Callum are as ever "spinning those wheels of steel" and talking nothing but sport, new music and some politics too...

On Saturday's show...

France beat England 3-0 in the race to put out the Olympic Torch, what some some pundits are calling the the "Flame of Shame". With 21 more countries to go on the way to Beijing, who will win what I'm dubbing the Tibetan Protest Challenge Tour?

Seriously, should sport be used as a banner for political protest? We'll be looking back through from Jesse Owen's in 1936 to the The Black Power demonstration on top of the victory stand in Mexico City in 1968 and finishing up with Man-of-the-people Robbie Fowler and the Liverpool Dockers to see what history has to say. We want to here from you and all your views and opinions on what could prove to be an explosive subject.
