On air now: Hello Holderness
Cars, REM and other assorted nonsense - Week 3

Well hello there.
Week 3 of the greatest Blog written by somebody who presents a Sunday afternoon show on Seaside FM, after Mike Brown that is, obviously.
Thank you for all your emails and texts during the show the other day, particularly the ones relating to new conspiracy theories. I'd like to make that one a long running feature so if you have anymore fake conspiracies that you'd like to suggest, I will be only to happy to take them of your hands. daveonseasidefm@hotmail.co.uk is the way you can let me know.
This week I have just bought my first car, so I'm pretty pleased about that, I have also bought tickets to see REM over the summer in Manchester. I'm not sure which of these is more exciting to be honest with you, if I were you though, I would expect a REM-weighted show on Sunday. I'm also off to a pub quiz tonight so if you're good I'll ask you a few questions for prizes on Sunday.
Last weeks show was another long one, I did 3 hours again but it flew by, although you may have other ideas about that I guess. As I said, I had a few nice emails and texts in off various people, it also saw the end of the celebrity view feature with a sterling interview from the real Gordon Ramsey, and not, as friend of the show Mark suggested, me doing an impression of Sean Connery. - thanks Mark. Don't worry though, there are several new things lined up for this week which I will announce in due course.
Apart from these there will be chat about how having a car has turned me into one of those men who now has conversations about cars with other men, despite knowing less than nothing about them, there will be mothers day talk and I'll want to know what you are doing for your Mum, or what your kids have done for you on the day. If you would like a request of any sort, it's a cheap, hassle free present if nothing else, get in touch via the email address above and I'll see what I can do. We will also be speaking to Mike Brown as always, and maybe Joey "saviour of the station" B, if he's still around when I rock up.
Till Sunday....
