On air now: Hello Holderness
New stuff, old stuff and other stuff - Week 4 of the Blog!

It's Wednesday and I'm sitting at a computer eating a dry cheese sandwich from Greggs, which of course means it's time for week 4 of the Blog. Hooray!!!! (Feel free to clap there, it will help the atmosphere, trust me.)
If you heard the show on Sunday you were part of a historic broadcast, because as I'm sure you realised it was my first four hour show. And not only that but there were three new features given a test run on this monumental occasion. They all seemed to go well and so will be returning on Sunday and for the forseeable future, if you want to know what all the fuss is about, tune in from ten on Sunday morning and find out. I'm told they were due to be featured in the "and finally" bit of the Ten OClock news on Monday night but we just got pipped at the last minute by Torvill the ice-skating cat. Maybe next time.
Clayton Atkins became our first second time winner (stick with it) on Not Quite The Missing Words Quiz, he won the Best of T Rex CD that was on offer. Next week we will again have a choice for our lucky winner, the KT Tunstall CD will return and will be up against What Hits by The Red Hot Chilli Peppers (their first Best Of) to win a place in the heart of the eventual competition winner. Good luck.
This week I am off to see The Music, who are an excellent band from Leeds. They have not released anything for three or four years ago so hopefully the gig signals that there is new stuff on the way. I will endeavor to introduce you to their charms this weekend, I will also be housed up in a pub to watch Fiorentina v Everton on Thursday and plan to do something, although I am yet to decide what, for my brothers 22nd birthday on Saturday. Any ideas, treats or random jokes to mark the occasion will be gratefully received at daveonseasidefm@hotmail.co.uk
Tomorrow I have the day off work and so have the tough decision of whether to spend it in bed watching tele or on the couch eating and watching tele. I may split it half and half to be honest, I'm not the best with decisions.
That's it for now, my sandwich is even dryer than it was at the top of the page so I'd best be off. Tune in on Sunday for more of the same, thanks again for your emails and texts, they make the show they really do.
Cheers
