Blog etiquette, grammar and other non-Blog related stuff too - Week 5!!!

Hello Bloggers.

Are you the readers, the Bloggers, or am I the Blogger, as the writer of the Blog? Is one of us a Blogee?

If I write a particularly small Blog one week, could that be called a Blogette? Or is that a female Blog? Or is that then making the assumption that Blogs are gender specific?

It's very confusing this modern technology stuff isn't it? Wasn't it all better when all we had was a diary and our thoughts.

Anyway, hello, how are you? I do hope you enjoyed the show on Sunday, from the volume of texts and emails we got in I got the impression that most people did but, hey, I've been wrong before. The long awaited new features are now all bedded in and ready to go, Word of the week, Punchline of the week and Song Lyric of the week will all appear in whatever order I fancy at quarter to 12, quarter to 1 and quarter to 2 every week, although as Sunday proved I am willing to be a bit flexible about these times.

It was good to hear from a few of you about what you have learnt this week, we will be doing that every week in the first hour of the show (10-11), we don't want anything too heavy but if there is somethging you have learnt this week that you didn't know before then let me know, either on Sunday during the show via the usual address and numbers, or by emailing me now at daveonseasidefm@hotmail.co.uk

We seem to be getting quite a few nice things said about the music on the show as well, if there is anything you would like to hear, or you would like to stop hearing then let me know at the above email address. Over the last few weeks we've played Elbow, Echobelly, Camera Obscura, Jem, Billy Bragg, Alishas Attic, Sleeper, The Black Keys and The Kings of Leon. If you want to add your favourite band, or even your own band to that list then just let me know.

This week I have done very little of interest, I am off to watch Everton try and pull something out of the bag against Fiorentina tonight, then signing for a new house tomorrow and going to see my friend in an Elvis tribute band on Saturday, so if I were you I would expect an Elvis-heavy show on Sunday. If your week sounds more fun than that let me know what you've done, we can turn it into a competition.

Best be off now, the M62 is only going to get busier. Feel free to email about anything or nothing and I will try and give you a mention on Sunday, not a shout-out, a mention. I'm not Tim Westwood.

Cheers, keep on trucking.
