Mike Brown meets Andy Train
"Watch where your sticking that will ya!" - Me with Andy Train.
Andy Train came to visit The Mike Brown Radio Show to tell me how his show "Relaxed To The Point Of Incontinence" was the first event to sell out at the Hull Comedy Festival in 2007. Andy has even taken a one man comedy show to The 2004 Fringe Festival in Edinburgh.
We also spoke about Andy's 'proper job' as a full time Training & Development Officer for the NHS and the time he 'attended' to me whilst he was working in the A&E at Hull Royal Infirmary!
Andy isn't a stranger to our part of East Yorkshire, not only has he been a nurse manager at the Driffield Hospital he also regularly gets his hair cut at "Train's" hairdressers of Hornsea, he tells me that they are no relation!
Andy Train is also a tenor voice in a choir, a balloon model maker and the Company Director of Hull Pride. Infact, our paths crossed back in 1992 when we were both volunteering on a charity radio station called Radio Cracker in Hull, proving that Andy Train is a bit of a jack of all trades!
I later went to see Andy's "Relaxed To The Point Of Incontinence" show at The Dorchester Hotel, which is where the above picture was taken. A good night was had by all!
