On air now: Hello Holderness
Television: You're fired!

Howdy!
If I had to choose between radio and TV, I'd choose radio everytime. There is very rarely anything on that is worth watching and anything that is worth watching is repeated a couple of days later anyway, which gives me more of a reason to make less of an effort to watch it!
OK, there are one or two things I watch on the goggle box, but it literally is just the one or two things. Firstly, I'm a fan of Harry Hill's TV Burp. It's funny and he often sees things on programmes that you miss or just don't think about. As sad as it sounds, I regularly watch Look North. OK news programmes are boring I know, but you have to keep your finger of the pulse of whats happening in the area haven't you? Especially when you a radio presenter, it would be daft me going on the air and not knowing something had happened locally that was important. Anyway, theyv'e got new graphics and titles as of Monday, so anoraks get your recorders ready!
The only other programme I make a point of watching religiously is The Apprentice. Did anyone see it on BBC1 the other night? If not let me fill you in.
Former satellite & TV aerial erector Simon put himself forward to be team leader for the Renaissance team, while Helene was nominated as boss for the Alpha team. Sir Alan then mixed up the teams for the first time, with Claire, Jenny and Sara joining the previously all-male Renaissance team and Kevin, Lee and Jimmy Carr look a like, Raef moving to join Alpha.
Both teams were given the task of running a photography business in the busy Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. Alpha decided to hire a David Beckham lookalike (I didn't think looked anything like him!), whilst Simon decided that Renaissance should do some sort of a glamour and beauty theme, although there wasn't much glamourous or beautiful. Simon was constantly questioned by Claire about his leadership, infact there doesn't seem to be much that she doesn't question. She's a cross between a yapping dog that doesn't know when to shut the hell up and one of those annoying ex's who thinks theyr'e always right, I think we've all had one of those!
Anyway, the result were that Alpha made a small profit of £145.10, while Renaissance actually lost money, something that Sir Alan is never happy about! In total they lost £73.81. Alpha were rewarded with a yacht trip with an onboard dinner, which made me think that Sir Alan must be running out of ideas as the prizes never seem to be as frivolous as what they used to be. I would have been a little dissapointed with this prize as I'm not a big fan of boats or water!
Simon, Alex and Claire from were brought back into the boardroom and just when I thought he was going to get rid of that b*tch Claire, he told her to go back to the house! Is he mad?!
It must only be because she is a bit inflammatory and will make good TV in the coming weeks by getting on everyone's nerves. So, as Sir Alan considered Simon to be some what out of his depth it had to be him, even though Alan seemed to like Simon a bit. This brought the rare "With regret" line when it came his firing.
It goes without saying that I am completly and utterly addicted to The Apprentice and I have been since it started 4 series ago. I love watching and reading about it, but the last thing I'd do is read a blog about it written by former contestant Katie Hopkins which has started appearing in The Sun.
Katie said that Simon was "like a good bra, Simon is great in support leaving others to make a tit of themselves", just goes to show what that daft bint knows doesn't it!!?
What do you think of this series so far? Email me and let me know.
Join me on Seaside FM this Sunday from 2pm.
