CIDER NEWS

During my time off, I was lucky enough to be invited to a Cider tasting evening organised by CAMRA. As good as it was, it probably wasn't as extravagent as you might think, infact it was quite hard work actually...no seriously!! For every drink we tried, we had to fill in a card which asked us to state the colour, taste, the mouthfeel and how sweet or dry it was etc. The card was a bit like this one on the Wessex Camra website.

Funnily enough, I liked all the ciders and thought the samples should've been full pints! Thanks to David Litten for organising the night and remembering my love of the apple!

BIG BROTHER NEWS

Apologies if your not into Big Brother, but here is my take on the latest goings on. If your not keen then skip to the next section, ta.

Whilst I've been away, that idiot Alexander has been thrown out of the Big Brother house for erm... being an idiot! Even if she wasn't booted out, she would have been evicted as she had 9 nominations and recieved 75% of the public vote up until the time that she left.

Alexander's place of trouble causer has been taken by Sylvia Barrie, who I cannot stand! Her name should be placed under the dictionary definition of 'Bitch'. I've never known anyone on Big Brother be so openly two faced, she must know we can see everything that she does?

She even tried to latch onto the new house mate Stu (who looks like he wears eye liner to me), but was knocked back. Did anyone else see how embarrasing it was watching her trying to get close to him? Sylvia (who has had a boyfriend for four years) even cried after he snubbed her advances and said “I’m going to be dumped”, to right you are love!

Mohamed Mohamed (yes, that's his real name!) will also be up for eviction this Friday, to be honest, I think Mo is safe!

MOVIE NEWS

I've just found out that Mike Myers is working on a new Austin Powers film, six years after the last one "Goldmember", which I though sucked if I'm honest!

I did like the first two, but by the time we'd got to the third instalment it had run it's course. Still, Mike Myers is a funny guy and if listens to me he'll ditch toilet humour and stick to the double entendres.

STATION NEWS

Lastly, good luck to Paul Gray and Martin Pritchett who are presenting The Big Long One this Friday. The pair have teamed up to raise money for the RNLI by doing a 24 hour broadcast here on Seaside FM. Please give them a listen and offer them your support.

Also, before you go and click on something else, thanks to Will Smith for keeping The Mike Brown Radio Show seat warm for the last two weeks. As a thank you I've given him this week off, so it'll just be me and you this week baby!
