On air now: Non-Stop Seaside FM
The Virtual Mike Brown Radio Show

Howdy!
You may have noticed the lack of a show recently, all I can say at this stage is that those in charge at Seaside FM are planning a re-launch shortly and the schedule will be re-jigged and I'm sure that they have some cracking shows lined-up.
While I've not been on the air, I've been hobnobbing with BBC types in Manchester at The Lowry. It was an event put on to explain why the beeb are planning a major move into Salford Quays and what they intend to do there. I stayed in the Ramada Hotel and by the time I had checked out, I had come to the conclusion that hotels alone are responsible for the credit crunch! Why do they that thay can charge what they like when it comes to the bar? I wouldn't mind if I got exceptional service, but the German barmaid had no idea what a Southern Comfort and Coke was! Still, in order to get real value for money, me and my mate Dave from Cornwall thought it was quite good fun just making up random drinks and watching her look for them, nasty I know, but it was very entertaining!
I also guested on a show on Doncaster's version of Seaside FM called Sine FM. There studios were kitted out with new equipment, from vari-speed CD players and turntables to the lastest computer playout system, the lucky buggers even had two studios! I also met some really nice people at Sine FM, which was a bit strange for a radio station as normally there full of stress heads! Anyway, I'd like to say good luck to everyone over at Sine in Donny for their future broadcasts, not that you'll need it if what I saw was anything to go by!
Looking ahead, I'm quite excited about seeing me old mucker Frank Sidebottom in Hull on 19th October at Durty Nellies. Frank was my guest on The Mike Brown Radio Show about a year ago, Since then, he's toured with Charlie Chuck, appeared at various gigs all over the UK, and even in a double glazing commercial!
I believe the gig is close to selling out, so if you want a ticket then you need to call the venue on 01482 225212 or go to www.myspace.com/carnivale69comedy for more details. If you see one gig this year, make it this one!!!
