Mike Brown meets Rob Rouse

This is me with comedian Rob Rouse at Durty Nellies in Hull.

I had the pleasure of talking to Rob Rouse at his Hull gig on Sunday 16th November 2008.

Rob's first break in comedy came after he won the "So You Think You're Funny?" new-act competition in 1998.

As well as stand-up, he also performed as part of the "Big And Daft trio" with Ian Boldsworth and Jon Williams from 1997 to 2002, taking three shows to the Edinburgh Fringe. Then in 2002, Rob took his own show to the Fringe, and went back for a second year.

His television credits include being guest-presenter on the very first series of "The Friday Night Project", the sketch show "Spoons", both on Channel Four and playing Mike in the first series of the BBC 3 sitcom "Grown Ups".
