Local folk musician Kevin Young presents two hours of great folk and acoustic music and songs from home and beyond.

Regular features include:

• Live Guest Appearances. Performing Artistes who are in the area will be invited in to talk about themselves and their music with live performances from the studio. Listeners will be invited to phone in with their own questions.
• Local Artiste Feature. Amateur performers will be given the chance to step into the limelight of local radio and talk about their love for folk music and their expectations.
• Festival Showcase. An opportunity for organisers to come and promote their festivals and play tracks by their appearing artists.
• Story behind the song. Every song tells a story and the ones we feature will have secrets revealed.
• Blast from the past. Kevin delves into my folk music archives to find forgotten gems from decades gone by.
• Post box and Phone-ins. Listeners will be encouraged to express their views, comments and queries regarding folk music related questions.
• Challenge ye man. A chance to keep Kevin's researching skills up to speed by posing a folk related question.
• What’s up Local gig guide, where events, artists, dates, times and other relevant information will be announced.
• General. The above subject may not be on a weekly basis as they will depend upon the listeners response. This together with the recorded music and songs will make for a fascinating, exhilarating and stimulating 2 hour show, not forgetting the obligatory public information news items, ie; news, weather and advertising items.
