About the presenters
Owain Wood was born in Manchester in 1986 but grew up in Nottingham and moved to Leeds to continue his studies in Music Technology. He is a Nottingham Forest season ticket holder (for his sins) for over ten years and has always had a big interest in sport of all types. Although born in England, his dad is Welsh and therefore follows Wales in Rugby Union.
He dreams of Forest again playing top flight football and getting a job on Radio 5 Live so he can talk even more sport. Sometimes out spoken in his views but this is only due to his love and passion for sport and the beautiful game.
Wood is not just a radio presenter, he is a DJ, as well as producing music for New York Street Records and under the production name O-Dogg. Melding a mix of Hip Hop, Trip Hop, Rock and Electronica. His production name is more of an ironic joke then a reference to you know who. It is also a passing shot to the state of modern hip hop and rap with its continuing links to gang violence and songs that are just about guns, money and women.
You can check out some of his music off his first album (Dogg In The Basement) at http://www.last.fm/music/Owain+Wood and contact him directly at owain.wood@hotmail.co.uk.
As well as presenting for Seaside FM 105.3, he also works for Galaxy Yorkshire as a member of the promotions crew. He also produces music for a range of bands and artist in Yorkshire, Sheffield and Brighton.
Callum Cowham, Callum C or Producer Callum, lives in Hornsea and is currently studying for his A-levels. He plans to attend a university next year.
