What's in the Hornsea Gazette this week? Reflections of the life of Seaside FM presenter and Gazette columnist Andrea Burn make the front page of the paper, as we look back on her life. We will all miss her terribly. Also in this week's Gazette, a West Yorkshire based photographer whose photos of Hornsea gained a huge following and helped him through a difficult time healthwise, and a forthcoming photo exhibition at Burton Constable that's coming soon. Have a listen to find out more, and hear all about it before you read all about it.
Rachel Adams tells Seaside FM more about the Old Green Time Machine, that's coming to Withernsea on Valentine's Day during the half term holidays! Deacon Diane Berry gives her Thought for the Month, with a Valentine's theme.
Andrea Burn is remembered in a special programme on Seaside FM, which you can listen back to here. Our thoughts are with Andrea's family and friends, and she leaves a big gap here at Seaside FM. We hear from Jayne Nendick (SHoRes Centre) and Sam Hawcroft (Holderness Gazette), and remember the days of the Seaside FM Seagals, plus of course plenty from Andrea's shows here on Seaside FM. We'll all miss her very much.
Relics and Rails is a new free exhibition which you can check out at Goole Museum. It features watercolours based on old railway photographs from the 1970s, and old photos of East Riding landmarks. We speak to Syd Young to find out more about it.
