Over the past year, our reporters have been on the ground for the biggest news moments, all over the world.

In conditions that are often challenging - and dangerous - Sky News correspondents have delivered reports to viewers across the globe.

It can now be announced that Sky News has been nominated twice in the News Coverage category at the TV BAFTAs.

Two separate pieces of Sky News journalism have been shortlisted for the prestigious award.

They are:

• Chief correspondent Stuart Ramsay's exclusive reporting as he and his team spent a month living with rebels in the Myanmar jungle, while a brutal guerrilla war wages in the country.

The team also embedded in a secret frontline hospital built into the Myanmar jungle, where they witnessed a "conveyor belt of horror" as the medical staff tried to save the lives of severely injured civilians and resistance fighters. 

• The Sky News special programme live from Jerusalem on 21 October, which brought the latest news as desperately needed aid for Gaza was finally allowed through the Rafah crossing.

The programme also covered the release of the first hostages by Hamas.

The TV BAFTA awards return on 12 May, hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
